NINJA VAN Delivery for ilovemasonjar parcels

One more parcel on its way to our customers.

Typically, we will offload multiple parcels - Ninja Packs to one of the dropoff points, SPH Buzz located at MRT stations or nearby mini-mart.

We have never tried the automated Ninja Van locker before. That is why we decided to try one of these Ninja Van locker located at Seletar Mall, B3.

The locker (being 24 hours open) allows people to send parcels, receive or return items from their online shopping.

We got an immediate email notification on our email account and you can use Ninja Van app to track this parcel status: Drop off at Locker / drop off point, pickup by Ninja Van Team, delivery and processing at Ninja Van Warehouse, and finally delivery to our customer.

What is cool: If items are not received by recipient, it will be returned to sender. Alternatively, both sender and recipient will receive an email to update address and contact details. That means items can still be re-routed even after it is sent out.

What can be improved: We encountered staff at drop off points refusing to scan the parcels. If they are not scanned, Ninja Van system will not record the parcel is being dropped off. They will not send anyone to pick up these parcels for delivery, and it may be lost / damaged without tracking. So just give Ninja Van call centre a call if you do not receive any immediate email of parcel being dropped off at Ninja Van Drop off Point.

It cost us $3.90 for 1 Ninja Pack (Jan 2020) - they sell in packs of 20 online and you can purchase single pack at SPH Buzz outlet at a higher price. Just wait for their promo for lower prices and purchase these packs when you need. Do note the expiry date (typically 1 year).
